Casa del Bambu is a spacious, beautifully landscaped private retreat on a 2,800 sqm tropical property — your own oasis complete with a lush, fully fenced garden and an abundance of fruit trees. Enjoy bananas, coconuts, plantains, avocados, starfruit and more, right on the grounds.
Inside, you’ll find a king bed in the bedroom and a twin bed in the living room (extra twin available on request), full A/C, two smart TVs, high-speed Starlink WiFi, and a large bath with hot water at every faucet. The screened semi-outdoor kitchen is fully equipped — perfect for cooking while staying connected to the garden around you.
Your private patio and terrace are completely secluded from the rest of the property. Scarlet macaws, toucans, parrots, and hummingbirds visit the garden daily, and a 5-minute walk leads to primary forest with all four monkey species, sloths, and more.
Just 5 minutes from Puerto Jiménez town center — close to restaurants, beaches, banks, tour offices, and the boat ramp for Corcovado and Golfo Dulce excursions.

“This place is AMAZING — not just a place to sleep! Janina and Josh have thought of everything: AC, filtered water, well stocked kitchen, hammocks, hot showers, TV/streaming. Josh and his boat captain gave us an AWESOME tour to see whales, dolphins, turtles, and took us snorkeling. I will recommend this place to everyone I love and I will be back! We were sad to be leaving as we could have stayed forever.”

“Casa del Bambu is a fabulous place to stay. The home has everything you need, was spotlessly clean, and the hosts are great. The mattress was so comfortable — we slept like babies. The AC is cold, the shower is hot, and the surroundings are beautiful. Sitting on the porch listening to the howlers and watching the hummingbirds is a glorious way to spend early mornings. Hosts are super helpful and friendly. You won’t regret booking — highly recommend, 10/10.”
